He was a big fan of the Iowa Hawkeyes, especially football, basketball and wrestling. He was also a lifetime follower of the Cleveland Indians and Browns. Gordy and Pat loved to travel, making two trips to New Zealand to visit Lisa and John and traveling to many states. Gordy loved attending auctions and estate sales, where he was always looking for a bargain, spending time at the lake house at Lake Delhi and spending time with special friends, Tom, Joyce, and KC Pochobradsky. Gordy worked 35 years in the office at Iowa Manufacturing, now Terex.
