Gary Kolin Barrows, 71, passed away Sunday, May 1, 2022.
Gary was born Oct. 31, 1950, in Marshalltown, Iowa. Gary graduated from Kennedy High School in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Gary and the love of his life, Rebecca, got married on Sept. 9, 2009. They spent 35 years loving each other, welcoming their son Justin in 1986. Gary worked as a machine operator at Ralston Foods Inc. for over 41 years, retiring in September 2019. Gary was known as "Ol Blue" to those who loved and respected him. Gary had many hobbies that were a great joy in his life. He enjoyed the outdoors with activities such as fishing and riding his Harley. Gary was a kind soul who will forever be missed by those who knew and loved him.
Gary is survived by wife, Rebecca Barrows; son, Justin Hussey; and granddaughter, Aniah Hussey.
