Join Cedar Rapids police today for “Badge Walk” event at Noelridge Park
CEDAR RAPIDS — Join members of the Cedar Rapids Police Department for a night of fun and safety at “Badge Walk” at 6 p.m. today at Noelridge Park. This fun run/walk event will focus on safety as a walker or runner. The event is free and no registration is required.
Participants will learn tips including how to prepare for activity physically and mentally; knowing the area you’re in and how it contributes to your safety; and safety precautions to take when running at night, on roads and around others.
This is an all-ages event and everyone is invited. After the safety presentation, everyone is encouraged to take a few laps with the CRPD around Noelridge Park.
