Donna Lea Larson, 84, of Marion, Iowa, passed away on Friday, April 29, 2022, at the Ed & Joan Hemphill Hospice Unit at St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. In agreement with her wishes, there will be no services held. Burial will take place at a later date at Lafayette Cemetery in Alburnett, Iowa. Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Marion is assisting the family.
Donna was born on Aug. 23, 1937, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the daughter of Donald and Evelyn (McCready) Williams. She graduated from Roosevelt High School in Cedar Rapids, and went on to receive her degree from Hamilton's Business College. On Aug. 23, 1968, Donna was united in marriage to Larry Dean Larson. She worked for many years in the banking industry as a bookkeeper and bank teller. Donna loved animals and watching TV. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family. Donna will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Donna is survived and lovingly remembered by her husband of 53 years, Larry Larson of Marion; seven children, Linda (Michael) Rainville of Marion, Robert (Judy) Weber of Grand Prairie, Texas, Michelle (Dan) Haugen of Cedar Rapids, Kathy (Chris) Bzdill of Cedar Rapids, Lanette (Bradley) Thompson of Hopkinton, Iowa, Marcia Larson of Cedar Rapids and Scott Larson of Cedar Rapids; 16 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Glenn Williams.
