Garry and Dorothy were married on May 6, 1972 in
Cedar Rapids. They have two children, Heather (Jarod) and Melissa (Kenny), and three grandchildren, MaKenzie, Asher and Jade.
Garry is retired from the Cedar Rapids School District and Dorothy is retired from United Fire Group. Garry
currently spends his time working on his many rental properties and Dorothy loves her sewing and fishing
pastimes, and they enjoy spending time with their
grandchildren.
