NORMAN, Okla. — Former Iowa State guard Aubrey Joens has picked her next school and is heading to Oklahoma, she announced Friday on social media.
Joens, the younger sister of All-America forward Ashley Joens, played in 34 games last season for the Cyclones, starting 15. She averaged 6.2 points and 4.7 rebounds per game.
The Iowa City High grad joins an Oklahoma team that lost twice to the Cyclones last season, but finished 25-9.
The Sooners are coached by Jennie Baranczyk, a former Iowa player and Drake head coach.
