Former Hawkeye Joe Toussaint transferring to West Virginia
Senior-to-be from New York City played in 98 games for Iowa, had 41 starts

Joe Toussaint announced his new college choice Monday morning.
The point guard from the Bronx, N.Y., said on March 29 that he was transferring from Iowa after three seasons with the Hawkeyes. Monday, he said on Twitter that he was joining West Virginia’s program.
Bob Huggins’ Mountaineers were 4-14 and in last place in the Big 12 this season and were 16-17 overall. That was a year after they reached the second round of the NCAA tourney.
Toussaint played in 98 games over three seasons at Iowa and started 41 times. His career averages were 4.8 points, 2.8 assists and 1.2 steals per game. He led this season’s Iowa team in assists (114) and steals (51).
