Jacob Poduska, 29, of Olin, passed away on April 3, 2022.
A visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 9, at Dawson Funeral Services, Olin, with his funeral service to follow. Burial will be at Antioch Cemetery in rural Anamosa.
Jacob Michael Richard Poduska was born on March 4, 1993, to John and Kerri (Moore) Poduska in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He enjoyed working, farming and was always there to lend a helping hand. Jacob loved being outdoors, mushroom hunting, trapping and snowmobiling. His greatest joy in life came when he was spending time with his son Kamdan.
Those left to cherish his memory are his son, Kamdan; mother, Kerri (Dean) Cruise of Olin; three siblings, Sean (Taylor) Poduska of Mechanicsville, Stefani (Quinn) Williams of Stanwood and Adam (Paige Eggert) Poduska of Mechanicsville; his nieces and nephew, Gracie and Blake Poduska and DeeDee Williams; maternal grandmother, Susan Moore of Tipton; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, John Poduska; paternal grandparents, Edward (Louise) Poduska, and his maternal grandfather Gerald Moore.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed in Jacob's honor to Dawson Funeral Services, P.O. Box 258, Wyoming, IA 52362.
