Supreme Court needs Judge Jackson's experience

Many of the issues that affect our daily lives are heard and decided before federal judges. With more than a decade of experience on the federal bench, the Supreme Court needs the judicial experience of Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson.
Educated in the public school system, Brown Jackson later graduated from Harvard University and Harvard Law. Judge Jackson served as a federal public defender, vice-chair of the U.S. Sentencing Commission, and federal judge for the U.S. District Court in DC. Her judicial credentials are exceptional.
If confirmed, Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson would make history as the first Black woman to serve on the Supreme Court. Add to that, Judge Jackson would become the first justice with experience as a federal public defender. Her judicial experience would broaden the scope and understanding on a multitude of cases facing the Supreme Court. Judge Jackson would convey a more equal form of justice for all, not just for corporations and the rich and powerful.
I urge Sens. Chuck Grassley and Joni Ernst to be part of this historic moment and vote to confirm Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson, a highly qualified judge, as our next Supreme Court justice.
