Quilt Amana event returns on Friday

AMANA — Join Heritage Designs Quilting & Needlework at Price Creek Event Center for Quilt Amana 2022. This second annual event will feature over 200 quilts on display, with over 100 offered for sale. A number of vendors and guest artists will be at the event, and quilting demos and exhibits will be showcased. Weekend passes are $5.

New to the show this year is a quilt exhibition, “Found.”. “Found” features quilts discovered in various states of completion and wear, which were then completed and/or reproduced. Enjoy discovering the history and journey of these beautiful pieces, no longer lost to time.

Other vendors and demos include fiber artist Sue Kluber, handcrafted hardwood quilt displays from Schanz Furniture, Primitive Quilts & Projects (PGT) Designs, fabric rep swatch sale, and traditional Amana Quilting demos.

Safe Haven of Iowa County animal rescue also will have its raffle quilt on display with tickets for sale.
