Jannes DeAnn Teply Weede, 83, died Monday, March 7, 2022. A Celebration of Life is pending.
Jannes was an elementary teacher for 28 years.
Jannes is survived by her husband, Gary Weede of Marshalltown, whom she married on Dec,. 28, 1958; daughters, Susan (Joe) Pollpeter of Marshalltown and Sandra (Carl) Menard of Burton, Mich.; six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; and sisters, Patricia (David) Mahr, Decatur, Ill., Sharon (Tom) Lewers, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and Julia (Darrel) Wahlstrom, Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank J. and Edna Sladek Teply.
