Mary Lou Dickel, 88, of Middle Amana, passed away Monday, March 21, 2022, at Rose Haven Nursing Home in Marengo. Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday, March 25, at the Middle Amana Church, Middle Amana. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, March 25, at the church with Elder Jon Childers officiating. Burial will be in Middle Amana Cemetery. Memorials may be contributed in Mary Lou's memory to the Iowa County Fair or Safe Haven of Iowa County. Kloster Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
She is survived by her husband, Willard; five children, Sharon (Terry) Roberts of Marengo, Dean (Mary) Dickel of Mineral Point, Wis., Joan (Russ) Jones of Williamsburgm Chris (Donna) Dickel of Green Castle, Mo., and Danny (Mandy) Dickel of Marengo; in addition to 16 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren.
Mary Lou was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, William, Albert and John; and two sisters, Janet Aiken and Edna Michalek.
