GENTRY MICHAEL "G" LEACH
Coggon
Gentry Michael Leach, best known as "G," 42, passed away Friday, March 18, 2022, after beating the odds battling a seven-year fight with brain cancer.
He was born March 9 1980, raised in Cedar Rapids, and graduated from Metro High School! Surviving family members include his mom, Lesa Leach; three sons, Austin Bents (Jenn Morgan), Myson and Kaden Fritz; brother, Nile Leach; sister, Brittany Hobel (Anthony Hobel); his one and only (shining star) granddaughter, Gracee Rosee; and two nephews, Braxton and Landon. Other surviving relatives include multiple half siblings, Trenton, Manda, Quinton, Peanut, Kara and Billy. Also leaving behind the girl who took the roughest final ride with "G," Kimberly Cole (a special thanks to you)
"G" was a fabricator, master trader an extreme collector of everything including the Ladies! Gentry loved working with his brother, Nile, building and modifying cars as well as designing one of a kind things using his unique creativity that was comparable to none. He enjoyed buying selling trading treasures that he would find out auctions swap meets or wherever they may be hidden. He also devoted his entire life to taking care of his family and trying to help others.
He asked that there be no funeral but a Celebration of Life which he planned right down to the food! The Celebration of Lfe will be held from noon to 6 p.m. Sunday, March 27, at Classic Event Center in Cedar Rapids. "Haters welcome."
