BEVERLY "BEV" NAYLOR
Alburnett
Beverly "Bev" Naylor, 76,
of Alburnett, Iowa, passed away on Tuesday, March 15, 2022, at St. Luke's in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Private family services will be held. Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Marion is assisting the family.
Bev was born on Dec. 18, 1945, in Manchester, Iowa,
the daughter of Lester and Pauline (Long) Schatzle. She was a 1964 graduate of Alburnett High School and went on to attend Paris Beauty School, before operating Bev's Boutique and Hair Improvements. In 1965 Bev was united in marriage to Rex Naylor in Troy Mills, Iowa. Bev was a generous and selfless woman, who was a friend to everyone she met. She will be remembered by all for her excellent cooking, her love for gardening, reading, fishing and playing cards. But, most of all, Bev will be remembered for how much she adored her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Bev is survived and lovingly remembered by her husband of almost 57 years, Rex; daughter, Brevity (John) Airy, and their children, Nash, Clay and Cecily Airy; son, Brett (Jessica) Naylor, and their children, Lexie (fiance, Alan) and Justin Naylor; and brother, Steve (Sue) Schatzle.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorials may be directed to the family.
