Iowa will meet Richmond, a fellow conference tournament champion, in the first round of the NCAA men’s basketball tournament Thursday.
Just before the Hawkeyes beat Purdue 75-66 in the Big Ten tournament championship game, the Spiders upset top-seed Davidson 64-62 in the Atlantic 10 title game to book their spot in the NCAA field.
