Duane Edward Schlatter, 82, of Springville, Iowa, passed away peacefully Friday, Feb. 25, 2022, at Central Florida Regional Hospital in Sanford, Fla. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 10, at St. Isidore Catholic Church in Springville with a reception to follow. Friends will be received from 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday at the church. A private family burial with full military honors will be held at a later date. Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Marion is assisting the family.
