Angela Foster, 59, of Cedar Rapids, died Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2022, at St. Luke's Hospital following a brief illness. A private celebration of Angie's life will be held at a later date. Burial: Spring Grove Cemetery. Teahen Funeral Home is assisting the family.
Left to cherish her memory are her son, Daniel Foster; mother, Ruby Rawson; sister, Fran (Terry) Smith; brother, Virgil Jr. (Vickie) Rawson; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Angie was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel; father, Virgil Rawson Sr.; and brothers, Mark Rawson and Jeffrey Rawson.
Angie was born March 10, 1962, in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of Virgil and Ruby Prochaska Rawson. She graduated from Jefferson High School in 1980. Angie married Daniel Foster on June 15, 1985, at Concordia Lutheran Church, Cedar Rapids. Daniel passed away Jan. 15, 2022. Angie worked as a dispatcher for many years at CRST, part time at Hy-Vee Drug Town and most recently at BHMO as an accountant/bookkeeper. Angie enjoyed reading and being outdoors. She loved spending time with her family and friends who will miss her dearly.
