On an adventurous journey we did go.
It has lasted 50 years you know.
We have truly had a wonderful life,
Since we became "man and wife."
How'd they do it, your question might be.
"Divine intervention," it's plain to see.
Our kids made the plan and set the date,
And we did our best to celebrate.
Friends and family did their part.
For that we thank them from the heart.
