Laundromat prices are skyrocketing

Recently, I went to a local laundromat to wash a king size bedspread. Imagine my surprise that most of the machines were priced at $6 a load. I was in shock. How are families who have to use laundromats able to afford this price to wash their clothes? A lot of people were shoving in as many clothes as they could in the washers to save some money.
This is shameful to think that in this day and age where everything is so expensive, when people are having a hard time putting food on the table to feed their families, that they now are having a hard time washing their clothes. It is unreal and unacceptable that everyone feels the need to jump on the bandwagon to raise prices. Shame on the laundromats for being greedy an taking from those in need.
