Somersaults Gymnastics wins 3 team titles in Milwaukee
Youth gymnastics: Twisters shines at own invitational, winning 3 team titles

Kennedy Hurlbert, Aubrey Hoefer and Ella Deiters led Somersaults Gymnastics to the Xcel Gold team title earlier this month at the Harley-Davidson Invitational in Milwaukee.
Hurlbert won the beam, floor exercise and all around, Hoefer captured the bars and floor and finished second in the all around, and Deiters won the beam and floor and placed third in the all around.
Other Gold winners from Somersaults were Sophia Lyon (bars) and Carly Cronbaugh (vault). Top three placewinners were Peyton Daley, Ava Webb and Cailey Schroer.
Somersaults finished third in the Xcel Bronze and Silver divisions.
Emmie Barber (floor) and Tenley Murphy (vault) won Bronze titles. Elliana Brockhohn (vault, floor and all around) won three events to pace the Silver team and Brynn Thompson captured two titles (beam and floor). Addelyn Brockhohn (floor) also was a winner.
Placewinners were Maggie Schmitt and Haydin DeVore in Bronze; Hadley Richardson, Lily Freytag, Iris Taylor, Emma Lammers, Payton Owens and Lexi Kuboushek in Silver.
Emersyn Connerly placed in Xcel Platinum, Bailey Davis in Diamond, and Kinzley Wiebel and Helen Engel in Level 3.
Paisley Joens of Somersaults attended the Lake Geneva Vacation Classic and captured four Level 8 golds — vault, bars, floor exercise and all around.
Somersaults also competed in the Blizzard Beach Invitational late last month and Elliana Brockhohn (floor) and Thompson (floor) won Xcel Silver titles and Lyon (bars) and Cronbaugh (beam) won in Gold.
TWISTERS SHINES AT OWN MEET
Twisters Gymnastics won Xcel Silver, Diamond and Platinum team titles at its own Blizzard Beach meet late last month.
Tori Sletteland led the Platinum team with four wins — vault, beam, floor exercise and all around. Other winners were Reagan Furler (all around), Elli Frame (bars), Maggie Wauters (vault), Gia Cole (beam), Lauren Duncan (bars, all around) and Sydney Luckey (vault, floor).
Jayme Brown won the vault, beam and all around in Diamond and Meghan Humphrey captured the vault and beam.
Silver winners were Lila Cue (bars, floor), Emma Everson (beam), Jade Wery (vault), Myla Loveless (beam), Eva Hayes (floor), Maddison Bunten (beam), Annika Bueckers (floor) and Sarah Esbaum (beam, all around)
The Xcel Bronze team placed third with Zissa Santamaria winning all five events — bars, beam, floor, vault and all around. Saylor Wilson (bars), Delaney Busch (vault, all around), Amelie Kholade (vault, bars), Azaela Moore (vault, bars), Kali Decker (bars) also won titles.
The Gold team also placed third, led by four-event winner Reese Wendling. She won the vault, bars, floor and all around. Other Gold winners were Anna Tiedeman (all around), Josie McGraw (vault), Ava Beard (bars, all around), Lexi Nims (beam) and Carlee Schultz (beam).
Level 3 winners from Twisters were Gracie Raes (floor) and Maddie Shebek (vault) and Level 4 winners were Ava Manthe (floor) and Kaylee Carr (beam).
Twisters’ Optional teams also participated in the Circle of Stars in Indianapolis.
Juju Gielau won the vault, bars and all around in Level 7. Aubrey Langton (vault) and Delaney Quinn (vault) were also winners. In Level 8, Emma Moniza won the beam and all around, and Amalisa Harris captured the floor exercise.
Aubrey Gilliland (floor) and Leah Hendrickson (vault) won in Level 10, helping their team to a second-place finish.
