Jeanne Eleanor Crosby, 90, of Vinton, Iowa, passed away at Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, on Feb. 17, 2022. A celebration of life will be held in April.
Jeanne was born Aug. 3, 1931, to Clarence Stratton and Ella (Walters) Stratton. Jeanne was united in marriage to Raymond Crosby on Aug. 28, 1965, in Vinton.
Jeanne is survived by her daughters, Christi Cortright (Dave) of Flemington, N.J., and Kim Stacy (Mike) of Winsted, Conn.; daughter-in-law, Carolyn Robinson of Vinton, Iowa; her grandchildren, Steven Stratton (Daphney) of Fraser, Colo., Ellie Cox (Shane) of Vinton, Eric Morf of Clear Lake, Iowa, Robyn Stratton of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and Brianna Stacy of Winsted; her stepgrandchildren, Tracy Uthoff of Cedar Rapids and Matt Robinson of Vinton; 15 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
Jeanne was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Ella Stratton; her husband, Raymond Crosby; her brother, Robert Stratton; and her son, Michael Stratton.
