Structural Design Group in Cedar Rapids hired Barbara Kooken as operations manager.
Great America in Cedar Rapids has hired Tyler Hutchens as client reporting analyst; Carson Casper and Robert Abrams, service desk-triage specialists; Mike Ciambotti, chief information officer; Steve Noaker, Tax accountant; Kent Waters, sales and operations support specialist; Jane Leonard, documentation specialist; Annie Hills, content marketing manager; Jess Lacina, sales support leader; Briann Rubner, account support adviser; Ann Finneman, sales support specialist; and Todd Tumilty, dealer solution specialist.
Cyrus Payvandi joined Fairfax State Savings Bank as universal banker. He will be located mostly in the bank’s Kingston office.
Promotions
Community Savings Bank in Earlville promoted Liz Rude to assistant vice president/lending.
Alisha McDonald was promoted to client support manager at Skywalk Group in Cedar Rapids.
UScellular named Bridjet Pinson as area sales manager for northeast Iowa. Pinson has worked at UScellular for 13 years.
Shane Mell was named captain at the Cedar Rapids Fire Department.
Laura Glanz has moved up to business office manager at Advanced Therapy Specialists.
Board Members
His Hands Free Clinic announced to its board of directors executive committee Phil Hershner as president; Ray Vasser, vice president; Beth Disselkoen, treasurer; and Lori Soppe, secretary.
New Business
Stork Vision Cedar Rapids opened Feb. 10 at 1195 East Post Rd., Unit 2, Marion. The business provides 2D, 3D/4D ultrasounds for expectant parents.
Kudos
Three members of Chains Interrupted, a not-for-profit that fights human trafficking, were honored in January at the Governor’s Proclamation Signing event declaring January “Slavery and Human Trafficking Awareness and Prevention Month” in Iowa. Lenchen Raeside and Teresa Davidson, co-founders, and Heather Brown, board of directors member, received Governor’s Service Awards.
Alliant Energy was acknowledged as a “Top Utility” by Business Facilities magazine.
Dupaco Community Credit Union was named a 2022 Top Workplace USA by Energage.
