Kenneth "Kenny" Wood, 86, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away on Monday, Jan. 30, 2022.
He was born on Nov. 13, 1935, in Lansing, to Eugene and Martina (Peterson) Wood.
He grew up in the Lansing/Waukon area. After high school, he joined the U.S. Army and proudly served his country. He spent many years driving buses for Greyhound and Trailways. He retired with many awards for safety, etc. Kenny loved to watch sports and John Wayne movies and make people laugh. He will be missed.
He is survived by his loving wife, Vickie Wood; his children, Duane Wood, Patrick Wood, Jason Wood, Chad Wood and Cory Wood; grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death his parents; two brother, George and Walter; and his only daughter, Kristie Lynn.
Services are pending at this time and will be held at a later date.
