Alice Louise Gause passed away Feb. 13, 2022, at the Wesley Acres Health Center in Des Moines, Iowa.
Alice was born in Montezuma, Iowa on June 7, 1940, to Afton and Ruth Gause. She worked at Meredith Printing in Des Moines, Iowa,
her entire career.
Alice is survived by her sister-in-law, Jimmie Ann Gause of Swisher, Iowa; her nieces, Kathy Gause of Conroe, Texas, Susan Long (Craig) of Fort Atkinson, Wis.; nephew, Steven Gause (Kyra) of Papillion, Neb.; great-niece Claire of St. Paul, Minn.; and great-nephew, Spencer of Peoria, Ill.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Afton and Ruth Gause; and her brother, Robert.
The family would like to thank Wesley Life Hospice, especially nurses Patricia and Heidi for their great care as well as the Wesley Acres Retirement Center Staff.
A service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 19, at the Lynnville Friends Cemetery. The public is welcome to attend.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Good Samaritan Fund at Wesley Acres or Wesley Life Hospice.
