DAVID "DEDA" DWIGHT MARTIN

David "Deda" Dwight Martin, 66, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, was born April 20, 1955, in Des Moines, Iowa, to Dwight and Jane (Johnson) Martin. He passed away Feb. 8, 2022, after a battle with ALS. Visitation will take place from 4 to 7 p.m. Feb. 16, at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m., Feb. 17, at
St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church. A burial will be held after the service, at St. John's cemetery.
Dave is survived by his wife, Stacy; children, Joseph (Jackie) and Samantha (Josh) Paulson; grandchildren, Jacey, JD, Emma and Madison; mother, Jane Martin; siblings, Susan (Dennis) Stevenson, Chuck and Jon (Colleen); sister-in laws, Nancy (Mike) Zimmers, Sidney (Larry) Lutz and Sara (Duane) Tack; many nieces and nephews; as well as his yellow Labrador's, Boomer and Tater.
Memorials can be directed to the family to be distributed to American Cancer Society, ALS Association and St. Wenceslaus Church.
