Per Becky's request, there will be no visitation or services. Becky wants everyone to remember her during the
good times of her life and all the love
she had for all.
Becky was born to Orval and Velma Blough on Sept. 16, 1947, in Vinton, Iowa.
Growing up Becky enjoyed playing in the creek and woods, riding horses, basically anything that involved being outdoors and she also enjoyed playing basketball which she was pretty good at.
She married John Mikesell on March 27, 1971. They had two children, Nikki and Blake.
Becky devoted her entire life to her family. She loved and enjoyed her granddaughters, Ellah Mikesell and Hailey Pollock so much and cherished the time she spent with them.
Becky is survived by her daughter, Nikki Pollock (Marc); son, Blake Mikesell; granddaughters, Ellah Mikesell and Hailey Pollock; sister, Sandra Hertle; and nieces, a nephew and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Orval and Velma Blough; husband, John Mikesell; brother, Bill Blough; grandparents; and several aunts and uncles.
Special thank you to the Mercy In Home Hospice Care staff and to the staff at the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House. Everyone was so considerate and kind and made her very comfortable and at peace during her final days.
Also, a special thank you to her dear friends Sherri Ludwick and Judy Cowan for their friendships over the years and all they have done.
Becky can now be at peace and free of pain and be with all of the loved ones that passed before her.
