Republican Party needs some rebranding

Until 2016 the Republican Party always had a consistent and coherent set of ideas. As an independent voter, I didn't always agree with them but I respected them. That all changed with the election of Donald Trump. The Republican Party has since become a cult of personality. The party's ideas are now whatever Trump believes or doesn't believe no matter how absurd. The ideas are not consistent, coherent, or rational.
In light of this I would like to propose truth in branding. The Republican Party should be renamed the Trumpublican Party. At least people would know what they are getting.
