Cherry McGuire, 82, died Thursday, Feb. 3, 2022.
Cherry was born to Nelson and Ruth Geiger. With her first husband, Gene Vander Linden, they had three children. Later, she married Ronald McGuire. Her first job was at A&W, back when car hops wore roller stakes to deliver food. Cherry also worked at and retired from Rockwell. Cherry enjoyed traveling, especially to casinos. She volunteered with Animal Welfare Friends, helping foster many orphaned kittens.
Left to cherish her memory are her sisters, Beth Herrick and Brenda Christensen; her children, Shelly Encke, Dawn Rancourt and Forrest DenLinden; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
