MARK GLENN GREENLEE

Mark Glenn Greenlee was born Nov. 24, 1951, in Sigourney, Iowa, the son of Glenn and Thelma (Kelley) Greenlee. He graduated from English Valley High School in 1970. He was drafted and served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. On July 18, 1972, Mark was united in marriage to Charline Elaine Allen in South English. He worked as a truck driver for Swift and in the plant at Amana Refrigeration. He enjoyed fishing, riding Harleys, racing dirt track cars and watching NASCAR, the Iowa Hawkeyes and Walker Texas Ranger. Mark died on Friday, Jan. 28, 2022, at the English Valley Care Center, in North English, at the age of 70 years.
He is survived by his son, Richard (Danielle) Greenlee and Patricia (David) Moxley, all of North English; five grandchildren, Colton (Alysha) Greenlee, Devin and Rayna Greenlee, Anthony (Ily) Moxley and Rusty Moxley; a great-grandson, Lukas Young; and a sister-in-law, Kathy Greenlee of North English.
He was preceded by his parents; wife, Charline; and a brother, Alan Greenlee.
Celebration Of Life service 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 5, at the Powell Funeral Home in North English. Burial will be in the North English Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday.
