WAYNE "WEINER" B. JOHNSON
Springville
Wayne "Weiner" B. Johnson, 67, of Springville, passed away Jan. 29, 2022, at Living Center West after several years of declining health and complications due to COVID-19.
Per his wishes, there will be no visitation or service. Celebration of Life at a later date.
Wayne is survived by his son, Jeremy Johnson, and daughter, Jennifer Bradwell, both of Springville, and son, Corey (Chandra) Douglas of Hastings, Neb. He is also survived by five grandchildren, three stepgrandchildren, two great-grandchildren and one on the way; and sister, Janine (Jeff) Miller of Rhodes, Iowa.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard "Ole" and Phyllis (Cooper) Johnson; and his brothers, Ricky and Lynn.
Wayne's favorite pastimes were asparagus hunting, camping, cruising the gravel roads and drinking beer.
The family wishes to extend a sincere thank you to the staff at UnityPoint Hospital and the staff at Living Center West for all their care and compassion. And a very special thank you to Kim and Kennedy for all their help.
