Gerhard O. Hinrichs, 97, of Marengo, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 12, 2022, at his home. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 22, 2022, at St. John's Lutheran Church, Marengo, with the Rev. Andrew Gray officiating. Interment will be in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, rural Victor, with military honors. Visitation was held 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 21, 2022, at St. John's Lutheran Church, Marengo. Memorials may be contributed to any Lutheran School, or district fund, Iowa County Heritage Museum, or the donor's choice, in care of Kloster Funeral Home, 298 W. Washington St., Marengo, IA 52301.
