DAVID JOHN NOVOTNY
Hartfield, Pa.
David John Novotny, 80, passed away at his home in Hatfield, Pa., Dec. 21, 2022, with his wife Carol and daughter Lisa at his bedside.
Born in Cedar Rapids, David graduated from St. Patrick's High School in 1960, where he was a two-time All City basketball player and an All-City baseball pitcher. David enjoyed his tennis and golf and he was an avid gardener and loved puttering
in his backyard gardens. David worked tirelessly on his ancestry family tree.
David was preceded in death by his father, Lodge Novotny; mother, Esther Mae Novotny; and sister, Mary Wagner.
David leaves behind his wife, Carol Novotny, and daughter, Lisa Novotny; sister, Carol J. Novotny; and sister and brother-in-law, Margaret (Peggy) and Don Manderscheid; and many loving relatives and friends.
A private burial will take place at Washington Crossing National Cemetery. Any donations may be made, in his name, to Fox Chase Cancer Center, Philadelphia, Pa.
