Clark: Working to earn your trust and vote
Daniel Clark, candidate for U.S. House
Oct. 20, 2018 8:45 am
Hello, everyone, my name is Daniel Clark and I am running for a seat in the U.S. House, representing Iowa's 2nd Congressional District. As an independent candidate I want to reinstate the people of this country as the top priority of our government and elected officials.
I believe it is up to us - all of us - to shape our world into a place where all inhabitants can achieve true happiness and prosperity. Variables such as race, religion, sexual orientation, wealth and country of origin must never be allowed to become barriers to this destiny.
One way we can work toward this type of society is by voting, and I hope all eligible voters will participate in the November election. Of course, I also appreciate any consideration you bestow my candidacy.
Our campaign is focused on fighting for the betterment of all through federal policies surrounding living wages and universal health care.
I stand for equality - for racial minorities, for all genders and for the LGBTQ+ community.
I will work for immigration and criminal justice reform because both affect far too many Americans, and because changes are needed and long overdue.
Our generation must act now if our intention is to pass on a healthy planet to future generations.
But my top priority is you, and I will be a tireless fighter on your behalf.

I hope to earn your trust and vote on Nov. 6.
