Harold E. Zenisek, 95, Fairfax, passed away on Friday, Dec. 31, 2021. Private family services will be held with burial to take place at
St. Patrick Cemetery in Fairfax. Brosh Chapel and The Avacentre in Cedar Rapids is caring for Harold and his family.
Harold was born on May
6, 1926, the son of Ernest and Alice Zenisek. Harold married the love of his life Caroline Spratte on Feb. 20, 1950. Together they had five sons and a daughter and farmed in Fairfax. Harold's loves were his family, friends, farming, Dodge trucks, Plymouth cars, Allis- Chalmers tractors and especially selling Crows/Channel seed corn with his wife. Harold was a true farmer until the end. He was a member of St. Ludmila Parish in Cedar Rapids, former member of the Fairfax Fire Department and former member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Fairfax.
He is survived by his sons, Michael, Edward, David (Candi), Jerry and Ron; daughter, Judy (Don); many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Harold was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Caroline; daughter-in-law, Susan Zenisek; and sisters, Inez Atwater and Margie Volesky.
Memorial donations may be directed to the charity of your choice in Harold's name.
