IOWA CITY — The Iowa women’s basketball team has a Sunday game, after all.
The 21st-ranked Hawkeyes (6-3) will host Evansville at 11 a.m., the university announced Thursday morning.
Iowa was supposed to host Illinois in a Big Ten game Sunday, but it was postponed due to COVID-19 issues within the Illini program.
Evansville plays at Drake in a Missouri Valley Conference game at 2 p.m. Saturday, then will travel to Iowa City.
The Purple Aces (6-4) were scheduled to play at UNI Thursday night, but that game got axed by COVID-19 within the UNI program.
All game tickets and parking passes previously issued for Illinois-Iowa will be valid for the game Sunday vs. Evansville. Doors will open at 10 a.m. Fans still looking to purchase tickets are encouraged to purchase online.
In the event the Illinois game is able to be rescheduled, season-ticket holders will be issued a new ticket for that game at a later date.
