Betty Lou Robertson, 77, of Hiawatha, Iowa, died Dec. 25, 2021, at home. Visitation: 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2022, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Funeral service: 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 5, at the funeral home. Burial: Linwood Cemetery, Cedar Rapids.
Betty was born Feb. 21, 1944, in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of Harry Sr. and Opal (Keppler) Fetter. She married Delmar "Jack" Robertson on Jan. 17, 1959, in Cedar Rapids and worked for National Oats. She was a fan of Betty Boop who loved Yahtzee, bowling and going to the casino. Betty was a wonderful mom, grandma, great and great-great-"Nanny" and "Granny". She was a true and loving friend that cherished life. Betty will be dearly missed.
Survivors include her husband, Jack Robertson of Hiawatha; children, Melanie (Butch) Wuchter of Greely, Colo., Kenny (Lesta) Robertson of Cedar Point, Iowa, and Jackie Zaruba of Cedar Rapids; sister, Marcia (Jim) Mottinger of Cedar Rapids; grandkids, Timothy (Stacey) Wuchter, Tami (Brandon) Korgan, Tina (Chris) Slater, Taylor Wuchter, Joe Robertson, Krista Robertson, Zach (Kayla) Robertson, Cory Robertson, Sara Robertson, Zander Zaruba and Samantha Zaruba; 21 great-grandkids; one great-great grandchild; and many nieces and nephews.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Harry Sr. and Opal Fetter; and brother, Harry Fetter Jr.
