Rosemary T. Glass, 83, of Delaware, Iowa, passed away on Friday, Dec. 24, 2021, at Dennis & Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy in Hiawatha, Iowa. Visitation for Rosemary will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 29, at Bohnenkamp-Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Manchester. Additional Visitation will be held from 9 to 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 30, at the Funeral Home followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church in Manchester. Burial will follow at Pine View Cemetery in Delaware, Iowa. Bohnenkamp-Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service is in charge of arrangements.
Rosemary was born March 18, 1938, in Monticello, Iowa, the daughter of Archie and Callista (Albang) Payne. She graduated from Hopkinton High School in 1956. Rosemary married Thomas Glass Sr. on Oct. 12, 1959. She was employed and retired from Ertl Toy Company in Dyersville, Iowa. Rosemary was a member of the St. Mary Catholic Church in Manchester. She enjoyed spending time camping and fishing, watching the Cubs and Hawkeyes, attending her grandchildren's games and school activities, and being at the Greeley Meal Site. Most of all, she loved spending time with her friends and family, especially her grandchildren. Rosemary will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
Rosemary is survived and remembered by her children, John (Barb) Glass of Earlville, Greg (Deanna) Glass of Marion, Iowa, David (Lynn) Glass of Marion, Iowa, Joseph Glass of Marengo, Iowa, and Timothy (Trish) Glass of Delaware, Iowa; 15 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one sister, Ruthann Feltes of Hopkinton, Iowa; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Archie and Callista Payne; husband, Thomas Glass Sr.; son, Thomas "Shorty" Glass Jr.
