New Hires
Mercy Medical Center hired Sarah Kaspryk as a nurse practitioner, Mercy Cardiothoracic and Vascular Clinic; and Paula Hermsen, psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, Mercy Family Counseling and EAP.
Brianna Wills now is executive director for the March of Dimes for the state of Iowa.
Anthony Rossetti joined Linn County as facilities director.
Promotions
Skywalk Group in Cedar Rapids promoted Jaret Roe to sourcing supervisor.
Dahlia Latif stepped up to development officer and Laura Booth to director of family philanthropy at the Greater Cedar Rapids Community Foundation.
Kudos
Steph Cooper, director of employee health and occupational health at Mercy Medical Center, was awarded the Catherine McAuley Service Award in recognition of Cooper’s work through the ongoing pandemic.
Gazette health care reporter Michaela Ramm was named recipient of the Jay P. Wagner Young Journalist Award, in connection with the statewide Iowa Newspaper Association.

Monthly in-person networking and informative breakfasts sponsored by SCORE are held at Scott's Family Restaurant in Cedar Rapids.
