Dorothy Mae Loehr, 83, of Lisbon, Iowa, passed away at home on Wednesday, Dec. 22, 2021. Visitation: 3 to 5 p.m. Monday, Dec. 27, at Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services, Mount Vernon, Iowa. Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Dec.
28, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Mount Vernon. Burial: Springville Cemetery, Springville, Iowa.

Survivors include her children, Debra (Thomas) Applebee, Daniel Loehr, John (Nanita) Loehr, Judith (Fernando) Pavia, Edward (Lea) Loehr and Julie (Ray) Osten; 34 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Everett (Glenda) Mysak.
Dorothy was born Aug. 4, 1938, in Springville, Iowa, the daughter of Joseph and Lola (Scroggins) Mysak. She was a graduate of Springville High School. On June 21, 1958, Dorothy married Allen Loehr. She worked at Sheller Globe/UTA in Iowa City for many years. Dorothy was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. She loved to play bingo, go camping and fishing with her family, and traveling with her husband, especially to motorcycle rallys.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sons, Roger, Jeff, Ronnie, and Theodore; and siblings, Raymond, Henry, Charlie, Mary, Emma, Francis, Donald and Joann.
