1. Iowa’s Keegan Murray, coming off a career-high 35 points against Utah State Saturday, has regained the nation’s scoring lead with 23.5 points per game. Monday, he was named the Big Ten’s Player of the Week for the second time this season.
2. Hawkeye guard Jordan Bohannon is 16-for-16 in free throws this season, and has made his last 21. The Iowa record for consecutive free throws is 34, shared by Bohannon and Chris Street.
3. Southeastern Louisiana is playing the last game of eight straight away from home. It lost at Iowa State Sunday, 77-54. The Lions of the Southland Conference are 20-49 over the last three seasons.
4. In the only meeting between the two schools, Iowa won 57-50 in 2007 after trailing 25-18 at halftime.
5. Iowa is second in the nation in fewest turnovers per game and assist-to-turnover ration, and third in turnover margin.
