Korrina Dawson, 60, of Cedar Rapids, died Thursday, Dec. 9, 2021. Celebration of Life gathering will be from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 18, at Brosh Chapel and The Avacentre in Cedar Rapids, located at 2121 Bowling
St. SW.
Korrina was born June 2, 1961, in Mt. Clemens, Mich., the daughter of James and Marilyn (Rick) White. She graduated from Cedar Rapids Kennedy High School, class of 1979, and later attended Hamilton Business College. Korrina was united in marriage to Ray Dawson on May 1, 1998, in Cedar Rapids. In her earlier years, she worked as a bartender and in the pool and spa industry. In 2014, she opened ReAlive Metaphysical Shop, which is currently located in Cedar Rapids. She was in acceptance of all people and made a lot of friends through her life. Once you made eye contact with Korrina, she would engage in conversation. Korrina loved being outdoors, sunbathing around her pool, entertaining friends and, most of all, spending time with her family.
Korrina is survived by her husband, Ray; her children, Nicole Bendickson and Shane White; her mother, Marilyn Reynolds; Ray's children, Tracy (Eric) Von Sprecken and RaeLynn (Ashley) Dawson; 10 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; her siblings, Rick (Luann) White, Gary (Linda) White, Galen Reynolds, Bryan (Deb) Reynolds and Tara (Jamie) Bowler; as well as her nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father and her grandparents.
