Betty Ann Fannon, 94, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, died Wednesday, Dec. 1, 2021, at Winslow House, Marion, Iowa. Visitation: 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 8, 2021, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids. A funeral service will immediately follow at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial: Linwood Cemetery, Cedar Rapids.
Betty was born Jan. 10, 1927, the only child of John W. and Hattie (Lippert) Raetz. On June 24, 1960, Betty was united in marriage to Donald Fannon in Nashua, Iowa. She worked at Cryovac for 20 years. Betty was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. She enjoyed tending to her garden and loved cheering for the Chicago Cubs.
Survivors include her daughters, Donna Anderson of Walford, Iowa, Diane (Richard) Langton of Cedar Rapids, and Christine Fannon of El Paso, Texas; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents; spouse, Donald Fannon in 2001; and son-in-law, David Anderson.
