Beg your pardon, Gov. Reynolds

I was delighted to learn from The Gazette that the governor of Iowa took time from her arduous schedule of governing to pardon some Thanksgiving turkeys ("Kim Reynolds signals return to normal with turkey pardon ceremony," Nov. 23). My only question is whether the roles of pardoner and pardoned should have been reversed.
