Marye Ruth Cotton of Potomac, Md., died Friday, Nov. 19, 2021.
She was the beloved wife of William Robert Cotton Sr.; loving mother of Caroline Vance (Christian), Lynn Tavel (Gary), David Cotton (Kathy) and William Cotton Jr.; devoted grandmother of Connor and Charlotte Vance, Lindsey Tavel, Danny and Adrienne Cotton and the late, Kaitlyn Tavel; and great-grandmother of Braydin LaRocco.
Friends will be received from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 28, at Pumphrey's Bethesda-Chevy Chase Fuenral Home, 7557 Wisconsin Ave., Bethesda, Md. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 30, at Potomac Presbyterian Church, 10301 River Rd., Potomac, Md.
