Darrin Joseph Upah, 49, of Ottumwa, formerly of Belle Plaine, Iowa, gained his angel wings, Nov. 17, 2021.
He is survived by his son, Brock Wacha; parents, Russell and Maxine Upah; siblings, Brenda (Alan) Molyneux, Denise (Bart) Hamlett, Corinne (Barry) McGrew, Jeff Upah and Brent (Cindy) Upah; and many nieces, nephews, special aunts, uncles and many other family; friend, Terry LaPoint; goddaughters, Hailee and Hannah LaPoint; and many other friends.
Darrin was preceded in death by his grandparents; and sister-in-law, Deb Upah.
Memorial service is 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 24, at Hrabak-Neuhaus Funeral Service, Belle Plaine, Iowa, with Deacon Joe Behounek officiating. Burial will take place at St. Mary's Cemetery, Vining, Iowa.
Visitation is 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 23, at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to the Darrin Upah Memorial. Online condolences can be sent to www.neuhausfuneralservice.com.
