CAROL (MORGAN) MAXWELL
Seymour, Mo.
Carol (Morgan) Maxwell, Seymour, was born May 18, 1946, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, to Ralph and Millie (Haseck) Morgan. She departed this life on Nov. 15, 2021, in University of Missouri Hospital, Columbia.
Carol loved nature and walking in the woods. She enjoyed traveling, and had
been to Europe, China and New Zealand, staying at the youth hostels because they knew the best of everything. She loved Zermatt, Switzerland, staring at the Matterhorn. She paraglided off the mountains while in Switzerland. Carol also loved chocolate! She had worked as a substitute teacher for Marshfield Schools.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Glenn Jay Maxwell, USMC; and her brother, Michael Morgan.
Carol is survived by her husband of 44 years, Glenn Maxwell of the home; her children, Tracey Lynn Bethel, Las Vegas; James Bethel, Springfield, Mo.; and Jeffrey Maxwell (Lucy), Satima, Japan; and two grandchildren, Nora Maxwell and Skyler Maxwell.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 27, at Fraker Funeral Home, Inc. Visitation will be from 6 to 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 26, at the funeral home.
The family suggests memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society and left in care of Fraker Funeral Home, Inc., P.O. Box 85, Marshfield, MO 65706.
