What's up with the double standard?

Somebody please explain this to me. Colin Kaepernick allegedly disrespects the national anthem and is banned from football for life. Aaron Rodgers endangers and disrespects his teammates, innocent bystanders and America by allegedly refusing and than lying about his vaccination status, gets a slap on the wrist and still is playing? Double standard?
