Arllo Schultz, 91, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, died Saturday, Nov. 13, 2021. A memorial service will take place at
1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 17, at St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Marion, Iowa, with a visitation one hour prior. Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Cedar Rapids is assisting the family with arrangements.
Arlo was born Feb. 24,
1930, in Boone, Iowa, the son of Gilbert and Alma (Stolte) Schultz. He served in the National Guard. Arlo was united in marriage to Virginia "Maxine" Partridge on April 21, 1956, in Marshalltown, Iowa. He worked at Rockwell Collins until his retirement in 1993. Arlo was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church.
Survivors include his daughter, Deborah Schultz of Cedar Rapids; son, Stephen Schultz of Cedar Rapids; and grandchildren, Eliza and Zachary Schultz.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Gilbert and Alma Schultz; his beloved wife of 65 years, Maxine Schultz; son, David Schultz; and sisters, Ione Larson and Leah Lander.
Memorials may be directed to the Indian Creek Nature Center.
The family would like to thank the staff at Northbrook Manor Care and Bickford Cottage for their loving care of Arlo.
