LINDA ANN (GOODLOVE) KING
Winder, Ga.
Linda Ann (Goodlove) King, 69, died Oct. 27, 2021, in Winder, Ga., of heart disease. Services were held Nov. 4 at Winder First Methodist Church. Inurnment will be held at a later date. Smith Memory Chapel, Winder, Ga., was in charge of
arrangements.
Linda was born April 5, 1952, in Iowa City, Iowa, to Cecil Earl Goodlove and Anna Margaret (Pavel) Goodlove and grew up in Shueyville, Iowa. She attended College Community Schools, graduating from Prairie High School in 1970. She attended Marycrest College, Davenport, Iowa, and worked as a teacher's aide in College Community Schools before her marriage to Richard B. King Jr. Aug. 2, 1975, in Cedar Rapids. She worked as a paraprofessional in grammar and middle schools where her sons attended. Later she worked in the banking industry, most recently as special events coordinator for Union Bank in the Atlanta area before her retirement.
Survivors include her husband, Richard B. King Jr.; sons, Matthew Allan King and Christopher Michael King, all of Georgia; and five grandchildren. Also surviving are brothers, Joe (Mary) Goodlove of rural Lowden, Iowa, and John (Dawn) Goodlove of rural Marion, Iowa.
