Karen was born in 1945 to Edwin and Geraldine Geery the fourth of 10 children. She passed away Friday, Oct. 29, 2021, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. She was raised in Harvey, Iowa, lived several years in Cedar Rapids, Knoxville, and most recently, Marion.

Besides her daughters, survivors include three sisters, three brothers and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Roger; son, Darrick; and three brothers.
Services are at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Winfield Funeral Home, Knoxville, Iowa, with visitation from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday. Memorials may be directed to the Shriner's Hospital of Minneapolis or her family. Online condolences may be sent to www.winfieldfh.com.
